Learn more at <a href="https://bydrec.com/">bydrec.com</a>.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong><br><strong>Hours:</strong> ~20 hrs/week<br><strong>Location:</strong> Remote (LATAM )<br><strong>Timezone:</strong> Flexible, with availability during <strong>Central Time</strong> hours<br><strong>Contract:</strong> Long-term, part-time</p><p>A fast-growing publishing and printing company (200+ titles/year, 1M+ books printed annually) is seeking a <strong>highly detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Inventory Admin</strong> to support bookkeeping, inventory coordination, and Amazon Advantage workflows.<br>The work is straightforward but requires someone who loves organizing data, maintaining accuracy, and managing systems end-to-end.</p><hr><h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2><h3><strong>Bookkeeping (QuickBooks Online)</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Handle routine bookkeeping tasks in <strong>QuickBooks Online</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Perform <strong>monthly bank reconciliations</strong> (Chase Business Banking, read-only access).</p></li><li><p>Support <strong>monthly closing processes</strong> and coordinate with a U.S.-based accountant.</p></li><li><p>Maintain clean and accurate financial records.</p></li></ul><h3><strong> Inventory & Amazon Advantage</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Manage <strong>Amazon Advantage</strong> inventory requests and shipments.</p></li><li><p>Use critical thinking to determine when <em>not</em> to ship inventory to avoid returns.</p></li><li><p>Prepare backend inventory and sales reports.</p></li><li><p>Track data, timelines, and dependencies across shipments and orders.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Administrative Support</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Handle additional operational and admin tasks as needed.</p></li><li><p>Organize data and optimize workflows.</p></li><li><p>Work independently and ensure timely delivery of all responsibilities.</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2><h3><strong>Required Skills</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Strong experience with <strong>QuickBooks Online</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Ability to complete reconciliations and monthly reviews.</p></li><li><p><strong>Advanced Excel/Google Sheets</strong> proficiency (spreadsheet expert level).</p></li><li><p>Comfortable accessing Chase Business Banking (read-only).</p></li><li><p>Experience with inventory management; Amazon Advantage experience is a strong plus.</p></li><li><p>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Soft Skills</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Critical thinker with a systems-oriented approach.</p></li><li><p>Proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working asynchronously with a flexible schedule.</p></li><li><p>Consistently focused and committed to quality (“get your work done, be excellent”).</p></li></ul>
