A role in Global Supply Planning ensures that supply, capacity, and production plans are developed in alignment with demand plans and manufacturing processes to meet business needs. The role ensures that capacity is available and positioned to manufacture the right product, at the right time, and in the right location, while enabling visibility and problem solving when supply and demand are misaligned. The role serves as a key link between manufacturing partners and internal teams, including Global Sourcing, Planning & Inventory Management, Business Partners, and Supply Chain, translating business needs into executable supply and production plans. As this capability continues to scale, the role offers opportunities for leadership, creative problem solving, and shaping ways of working, with accountability for reliable execution and measurable outcomes.
As a Global Supply Planning Manager, Apparel, you will serve as a supply strategy leader, responsible for building and activating supply plans that deliver speed, flexibility, reliability, and growth for Target Owned Brands.
- You will lead long-range supply planning and capacity strategy, ensuring the right business partner matrix and country-of-production footprint are in place to support enterprise demand over a multi-year horizon. These plans provide the strategic foundation for investment decisions, risk mitigation, and supply continuity.
- You will also lead in-season supply and production planning, partnering closely with business partners and internal teams to translate demand signals into executable production decisions. Acting as a supply strategy control tower, you will connect Planning, Inventory Management, Sourcing, and suppliers to drive supply-side problem solving, improve visibility, and ensure plans are executed On Time and In Full.
- This role owns supply planning outcomes, including reliability, flexibility, and adoption of planning routines, and is accountable for delivering measurable business results through KPIs, disciplined execution, and strong cross-functional partnerships.

About you:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experiences
- 3+ years relevant sourcing, planning, inventory management, and/or supply planning experience
- Strong strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrates ability to analyze large sets of data and insights to form a perspective to effectively problem solve and drive decisions.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills demonstrating ability to work effectively with local and overseas partners.
- Flexibility, resiliency and nimbleness; comfortable with ambiguity and working in "grey areas" that are constantly changing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage cross-functional team, story tell through data, and keep partners informed.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing deliverables and collaborate with and influence a broad group of partners and stakeholders
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
