Position Summary The Lineman should possess experience with maintenance and construction of high voltage electrical systems. Essential Functions <ul><li> Perform maintenance and construction activities on high voltage electrical systems</li><li> Minimum of four years' of experience required</li><li> Operate bucket trucks 100+ feet for aerial work on power lines</li><li> Conduct tree trimming near power lines to ensure safety and reliability</li><li> Utilize ohmmeters and voltmeters to test electrical components</li><li> Work on construction sites and IT infrastructure projects as needed </li></ul>Please note that the essential job functions listed above are not intended to be all-encompassing. Employees may be asked to perform tasks which are not listed in this description but may also be considered essential for employment. Requirements Required: <ul><li>Minimum of 4 years' experience working with high voltage systems is essential</li><li>Proficiency in bucket truck operations and climbing utility poles</li><li>Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures</li><li>Ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions</li><li>Knowledge of using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other relevant tools</li><li>Experience in tree trimming near power lines is a plus</li><li>CDL Class A no restrictions</li><li> Required to work in substation when no line work is occuring </li></ul>Preferred: <ul><li>Blueprint/electrical schematic reading and interpretation skilled</li><li>Electrical/electronic trades training/basic electrical knowledge</li><li>No electrical license required</li><li>High school diploma/GED; additional preference given for Vocational, Technical and Community Colleges or Apprentice programs </li></ul>Benefits <ul><li>401k</li><li>Medical</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>GSA per diem rates</li></ul>
