<h2>Make an Impact on Advanced Cardiac & Imaging Care</h2>The Heart Hospital is seeking an experienced PACS/RIS Administrator to support our Radiology and Cardiology imaging environments. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as the technical expert responsible for maintaining and optimizing imaging applications that directly support patient care across multiple Dallas-area facilities.If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with clinical teams, and working with cutting-edge imaging technologies, this is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare organization.Please Note:<ul><li>This is an onsite position based in the Dallas area.</li><li>Regular travel between Heart Hospital locations is required.</li><li>Participation in an on-call rotation is required.</li></ul><hr><h2>What You'll Do</h2>As the PACS/RIS Administrator, you will:<ul><li>Administer and support enterprise imaging applications for both Radiology and Cardiology.</li><li>Maintain and optimize PACS, RIS, and imaging workflow applications to ensure maximum system performance and uptime.</li><li>Monitor DICOM image transmission, data integrity, image routing, and workflow accuracy.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and imaging application issues.</li><li>Partner with Radiologists, Cardiologists, Imaging Leaders, IT teams, and vendors to improve workflows and resolve technical challenges.</li><li>Support charge reconciliation, procedure code implementation, and reporting needs.</li><li>Provide training and ongoing support for imaging staff and new users.</li><li>Assist with imaging system upgrades, testing, optimization, and implementation of new technologies.</li><li>Monitor application performance, compliance, and operational metrics.</li><li>Participate in after-hours support and rotating on-call coverage.</li></ul><hr><h2>Technologies You'll Support</h2>Ideal candidates will have experience with one or more of the following:<ul><li>EPIC Radiant</li><li>Visage PACS</li><li>Nuance PowerScribe</li><li>TeraRecon</li><li>DICOM</li><li>RIS</li><li>PACS</li><li>Enterprise Imaging Platforms</li><li>Diagnostic Imaging Applications</li></ul><hr><h2>Preferred Experience</h2>We're looking for candidates who have experience with:<ul><li>PACS Administration</li><li>RIS Administration</li><li>Radiology Imaging Systems</li><li>Cardiology Imaging Systems</li><li>Diagnostic Imaging Workflow</li><li>DICOM Administration</li><li>Multi-site imaging environments</li><li>Imaging Informatics</li><li>Healthcare IT</li><li>Clinical imaging applications</li></ul>Experience supporting both Radiology and Cardiology is strongly preferred, although candidates with extensive Radiology PACS experience are encouraged to apply.<hr><h2>Schedule</h2>Monday – Friday8:00 AM – 5:00 PM<ul><li>Rotating on-call coverage required</li><li>Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday support</li></ul><hr><h2>What Makes You Successful</h2>The ideal candidate is someone who:<ul><li>Enjoys solving technical problems in a fast-paced healthcare environment.</li><li>Can prioritize multiple requests while maintaining excellent customer service.</li><li>Communicates effectively with clinicians, leadership, IT teams, and vendors.</li><li>Works independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Has strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.</li><li>Takes ownership of imaging system performance and continuous improvement.</li></ul><hr><h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>Education<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>1–3 years of experience administering PACS, RIS, or imaging applications in a healthcare environment</li></ul>Preferred experience includes:<ul><li>Radiology PACS Administration</li><li>Cardiology imaging systems</li><li>Multi-facility imaging support</li><li>Healthcare imaging workflows</li><li>Imaging Informatics</li></ul><hr><h2>Why Baylor Scott & White Health?</h2>At Baylor Scott & White Health, you'll join one of the nation's largest not-for-profit healthcare systems while working alongside exceptional clinicians and technology professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.If you're passionate about imaging technology and enjoy partnering with clinical teams to improve patient care, we'd love to hear from you.Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities.
